Join us for the World Missions Day of Prayer on November 2 at Uriah Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m.

Bethlehem Baptist Association WMU (Woman’s Missionary Association) exists to equip and encourage women to live on mission and make disciples of Jesus — right where they are and to the ends of the earth.

Rooted in the Great Commission, we believe every follower of Christ is called to a lifestyle of missional living, sharing the gospel through both words and actions.

As part of the larger family of Alabama WMU, we partner with churches across our region to help women and girls grow in discipleship, develop as leaders, and engage in evangelism and ministry that impacts their homes, churches, and communities.

Together, we strive to be a movement of women who live on mission — making disciples who make disciples, for the glory of God.

Monthly Ministry Emphasis

Christmas Backpacks

Christmas Backpacks is a ministry that brings the hope of Christ to Appalachian children in need by distributing backpacks filled with essential gifts, school supplies, and Gospel materials each Christmas season.

Appalachian Children Ministry (ACM) is focused on a neglected area in Southwest West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky. Working with churches in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, Wolffork Baptist Church has collected resources and Christmas Backpacks for the targeted area.

Want to get involved with WMU?

Many churches within the Bethlehem Baptist Association have active local WMU ministries, each engaging women in missions, discipleship, and service within their own congregations.

Together, we unite at the associational level to strengthen our shared commitment — joining efforts in prayer, service, and mission work that extends the love of Christ throughout our communities and beyond
